Rafael Enrique Romo Pérez (born on February 25, 1990 in Turén, Venezuela) is a Venezuelan goalkeeper, who plays for Udinese.

Romo started his career at 17 years old, playing in old Venezuelan goalkeeper Gilberto Angelucci's team, the Atlético de Turén. He participated in the 2007 Venezuelan Torneo Apertura. He played against U.A. Maracaibo in the Copa Venezuela, which surprised fans and the press. On 15 July 2009, Udinese acquired the goalkeeper from Llaneros FC.[1]
Romo made his debut with Udinese in a 3–1 defeat against Lazio, on 15 May 2010.[2]
Romo has represented the Venezuelan national football team at every level.
His biggest accomplishment with the national team was the historic 4th place finish at the Sudamericano U20 tournament, making that Venezuelan U20 team the first ever to qualify for the U20 World Cup.
On 6 June 2009, Romo played in the CONMEBOL FIFA SA World Cup qualifier against the Bolivia, the first time Venezuela ever beat Bolivia in La Paz, largely thanks to an excellent performance by Romo, who made many excellent saves and kept a clean sheet.
He was called up for the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Romo was born in Turén and raised in Portuguesa.
